Helpful for the treatment of internal or external bacteria, viral or fungal infection, including parasites and protozoan organisms, helps to fight infections of the mouth, throat and respiratory tract, stomach or intestines. Used as a preventative if your horse is pone to skin problems, respiratory ailments, arthritis and laminitis. Some horses secrete garlic through their skin which can help repel insects. Do not use if a horse is scouring. May also taint a mares milk when feeding and can upset the foal's digestive system. Excess amounts of garlic can irritate the gut and/or cause Heinz-body anemia.
